Dr. Buono completed her pediatric residency at the University of South Carolina/Prisma Health in Columbia, SC. She went on to practice general pediatrics in Richmond Hill, GA and in Farmington, CT before joining the team at Unionville Pediatrics. Passionate about patient-centered care, Dr. Buono values the collaborative and compassionate approach that defines the practice. She brings warmth, energy, and a love of problem-solving to each visit and may or may not be mentally planning an escape room while doing it.

Dr. Buono lives in Unionville with her husband, Anthony (an endodontist she met during anatomy lab at UConn), their joyful and high-energy toddler, Jack, and their lovable golden retriever mix, Max.
